TIMEFORGLOW
Terms of Service
These Terms explain how you may use TimeForGlow at timeforglow.com. They cover the customer marketplace, salon owner tools, bookings and simulated demo profiles. They reflect how the product works today. They are not legal advice and have not been certified by an external counsel review.
1. The service
TimeForGlow provides (a) a marketplace where customers can discover approved, active partner salons and request appointments, and (b) tools for salon owners and staff to manage profiles, diaries, customers and related operations.
TimeForGlow is a technology platform. Salons provide the beauty, hair and wellness treatments. Unless we say otherwise, we do not ourselves perform those treatments.
2. Accounts
Customers and salon owners use the same style of account (email and password). You must provide accurate details, keep your password confidential, and complete email verification when the product asks for it before booking or registering a salon.
You must be old enough to form a binding agreement in your country. If you use TimeForGlow for a business, you confirm you are allowed to act for that business.
3. Customer responsibilities
- Arrive on time for appointments you book, or cancel according to the salon’s stated rules.
- Provide truthful contact details needed for the booking.
- Pay the salon for treatments according to the salon’s payment policy shown at booking.
- Treat salon staff and other guests respectfully.
- Do not misuse the marketplace (fake bookings, scraping, harassment or attempts to disrupt the service).
4. Salon responsibilities
- Submit accurate business details for administrator review before public listing.
- Keep services, prices, staff schedules and opening information reasonably up to date.
- Honour confirmed bookings made through TimeForGlow, or communicate promptly if you cannot.
- Handle customer care, treatment quality, health and safety and in-salon policies.
- Use optional integrations (such as Google Calendar) only with accounts you are allowed to connect.
- Comply with laws that apply to your business, including consumer and data rules in your market.
Listing on TimeForGlow does not transfer ownership of your brand. You remain responsible for your own marketing claims and local licences.
5. Bookings and cancellations
A booking request creates an appointment record in TimeForGlow when availability checks succeed. The default live payment policy is pay at the salon. If a salon later enables an advance-payment policy and online collection is available, a temporary hold may apply until payment is completed; that path is not generally live for card charging today.
Customers may cancel or reschedule future confirmed bookings in My bookings where the product allows it. Salons may show a minimum online cancel notice (for example a number of hours before the visit). Venue no-show or late-cancel charges, if any, are between you and the salon unless TimeForGlow expressly collects them—which it does not do while card checkout is inactive.
6. Treatment payments vs TimeForGlow subscriptions
Treatment payments are amounts customers owe salons for appointments or retail. Today, pay-at-salon is the supported path. Online card checkout, Stripe Connect destination charges, gift-card card sales and related payouts are unavailable until those providers are enabled. Nothing in these Terms invents a live card charge.
TimeForGlow subscriptions are platform fees for salon software features (for example paid entitlements such as Google Calendar sync or custom domains). Platform subscriptions are separate from money customers pay salons for treatments.
Platform commission: TimeForGlow does not currently charge a marketplace commission on bookings. Commission configuration exists for possible future rates; no live commission rule is applied on the platform today, and settlement records do not move money while payouts are inactive.
Published plan prices, automatic renewals and refunds for platform subscriptions are not finalised in the live product. Marketing pages that say “price to be confirmed” are informational only. We do not claim automatic charging is active.
7. Free trial, grace period and custom domains
Eligible salon owners may start a one-month (30-day) free platform trial once per salon. The trial is recorded as a platform trial entitlement and does not create a Stripe invoice by itself.
After a trial or subscription period end date, entitled features remain available for a seven-day grace period. When that grace period ends, the entitlement expires and TimeForGlow may email the salon owner that access has ended. Custom domains that depended on an active subscription may stop routing when entitlement ends.
From seven days before the trial or subscription end date, the salon dashboard shows a prominent red in-app banner with the exact end date and remaining days. During the grace period the banner shows the grace deadline and remaining days. These notices use the stored entitlement dates and do not start a payment or renewal. An automated advance warning email is not required for this behaviour and is not claimed here.
Custom domains are a separate paid-style entitlement from general listing. Exact domain pricing is not published as a fixed fee in the live product and remains to be confirmed by the operator.
8. Demo profiles
Pages under /demo show simulated salon profiles for demonstration. They are marked as demo, are not affiliated with the named businesses, and are not approved marketplace partners. Bookings there are simulated; transactional demo emails are suppressed and no real treatment purchase is completed through those profiles.
9. Acceptable use
You must not:
- attempt unauthorised access to accounts, data or infrastructure;
- upload unlawful, harmful or infringing content;
- use TimeForGlow to spam, scrape at abusive volume, or interfere with other users;
- misrepresent affiliation with TimeForGlow or with a salon; or
- use Google or other integrations beyond the permissions and purposes described in the Privacy Policy.
We may suspend accounts or listings that create risk to users or the platform.
10. Complaints
For a treatment or in-salon issue, contact the salon first. For platform account, booking-record or technical issues, email hello@timeforglow.com or use in-product support where available. Salon owners can open support tickets from the dashboard.
11. Availability and changes to features
We aim to keep TimeForGlow available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Features may change as the product develops. Unactivated payment and messaging channels remain unavailable until enabled.
12. Privacy
Personal data is described in our Privacy Policy. Using TimeForGlow does not mean you consent to every processing activity listed there; optional features such as Google Calendar connection ask for permission separately.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms when the service changes. The effective date will be revised when we publish a new version on this page.
14. Contact
15. Operator details awaiting owner confirmation
These Terms deliberately do not invent:
- a company name or statement that TimeForGlow is a registered company;
- a company number, registered office or postal address;
- VAT numbers; or
- a governing law or court jurisdiction.
Those items need owner confirmation before they can appear as final legal identity. Until then, the service is offered by the operator of timeforglow.com, reachable at hello@timeforglow.com.
